Performance Review for the Motorola Moto X

Motorola is back in India and with a bang. The phone company once used to be a leading brand for mobile phones in India but was discontinued. Now, through the eCommerce giant, Flipkart, the American company has made a re-entry in the Indian market and soon after its arrival, has taken the industry by storm. With just 4 handsets available in the market, Motorola has completely nudged over other Smartphone giants of the same budget range.

The handsets sold out as soon as they were announced and Flipkart had to restock on the handsets due to popular demand. Currently, the handset models available in India are the Moto E, Moto G 2nd Generation, Moto X and the upgraded version, Moto X 2nd Generation. The company used a bevy of technological features and attractive pricing options to build up an ardent fan base in India. In fact, over 2.5 million Motorola smartphones have been sold in a single year of introducing the Smartphone series in India.

The major specifications of the Motorola Moto X have been stated below:

The battery back-up is really commendable for a Smartphone with a talk time of 10 hours. With the Android Jelly Bean OS upgradable to v4.4.4 KitKat, the phone has amazing performance quality.

The display of the Moto X is really commendable. The display is a full AMOLED capacitive touch screen with over 16 million colours supported. The pixel density is gorgeous with 312 ppi. The phone allows a multi touch option and comes protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which makes the phone extremely resilient to scratches and smudges. Battery Performance

One of the best features of the Motorola Moto X is definitely the trademark long battery life associated with the brand. This feature is just that cherry on the cake for the phone. The Smartphone provides a whopping talk time of up to 13 hours which is really commendable, since most smartphones in the budget offers a mere 8 hours. Heavy users can celebrate since your Moto X provides a stand-by of around 576 hours due to its Li-ion 2200mAH battery.

The Google Now launcher can be accessed by just swiping right to left. The media services are pretty basic, with Play Store, Movies, Play Music and Books. The Moto Display is also pretty good, displaying monochrome notifications by sensing touch. App bubbles show notification previews on touching leaving most of the screen black which don’t draw any power. The talk feature is pretty useful. Give any command, preceded by the phrase, “OK Google Now” and a virtual voice pops up to allow hands free phone functioning.

The phone is a good option for the budget. The features are extremely smooth and the Android experience is amazing on the Motorola Moto X. The best part is the power saving options available in the device which is a boon for the heavy users who use their phones for long. The phone, though slightly overpriced is a good buy due to the abundance of features which makes the phone totally worth the extra bucks.

7 Reasons: Why Should You Choose GoDaddy?

Choose GoDaddy © by

GoDaddy is the biggest name for both domain name and hosting industry. Hence, whether you are searching for a domain name or a hosting company, you will come across GoDaddy.

Here, I will give you some ideas why I like GoDaddy. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

GoDaddy – The Biggest Name in the Industry

Being the leader in both the domain name and hosting arena is the biggest reason which pushed me towards GoDaddy. Till 2000, Network Solutions was the only place to register a domain name. In 2001, the domain name registration market opened for competition. In 2005, within 4 years GoDaddy surpassed Network Solutions as the largest domain name registrar. In 2010, GoDaddy was managing more than 45 million domain names with 4 times in size of the its nearest competitor.

I followed a very simple logic. If a company is growing at such a rapid rate, customers satisfaction is definitely playing a key role. With customer satisfaction, no company can grow. Hence, this in itself gives me an inclination towards GoDaddy.

All in one Package

GoDaddy gives the complete service for internet business. Domain name registration, web hosting, designing, email hosting, online storage. You name any web development related service, GoDaddy is giving the service. Not only this, most of these service all well-known in its class for excellent service. Hence, you don’t have to look for some new professionals every time you need a new web service.

Cheap Price

GoDaddy offers some of the cheapest rates in the industry. I would not suggest to take this point as seriously. As difference in prices would not affect much on your business. However, $ 1 offer of domain name registration by GoDaddy is no doubt the cheapest in the industry.

GoDaddy hosts more than 5 million websites on 35,000 data centers. The company has more than 23 petabytes of data housed on its storage systems, and processes more than 350 million emails every day. GoDaddy resolves more than 10 billion DNS queries a day.

Naturally, it needs a heavy infrastructure to offer excellent service for such a big customer base. GoDaddy has 65,000 sq ft data center in The United States. Apart from three data centers in Phoenix, GoDaddy has data centers in Los Angeles, Chicago and Ashburn, Virginia, along with international facilities in Amsterdam and Singapore.

Upgradation Option

This is a very important thing I look while choosing a hosting company. A website at development stage or initial stage could be easily run on shared hosting plans. However, once it starts getting visitors and server load increases. It becomes impossible to continue the website on shared hosting. Then, the website needs VPS or dedicated hosting.

While choosing a hosting company, it should always be kept in mind that the website might need more power in the future. Hence, you should always choose a company which provides good service not just for shared hosting, but also for VPS and dedicated servers. GoDaddy no doubt is a trusted name for all these.

Will be in the market for long time

Many a times, small time reseller company closes their business without intimating. If a domain name reseller closes their business. The domain management could be shifted to any other company with some extra effort. However, if a hosting company pulls the plug without intimating, the amount of loss could be much devastating.

Hence, it is always recommended to avoid a reseller company and be associated with stable original companies like GoDaddy, which won’t just shut down its business overnight.

There is always an option of Change

Give GoDaddy a try. If you don’t find its service good you can always change your hosting or domain management company. Any how, you have to give any company a trial. Why not a reputed name, GoDaddy?

Give a trial for a month or two. If you don’t like the service, you can easily transfer your whole website setup to any new company.
